Muralmatics founder Dustin Hunt is in the process of painting three portrait murals across the City of Lansing. The mural’s depict one family across three generations and will be painted on three repurposed school buildings in Lansing’s North, West, and South side. QR codes will soon be displayed near the mural. When viewers scan the QR code, they’ll be directed to a video of the family members discussing how Lansing has shaped them. The viewer will then get instructions on recording and uploading a video and sharing a story about how Lansing has shaped them too. These videos will then be added to a gallery, and grow as more people submit their videos.

Working with some of Lansing’s most talented photographers and videographers, we’ll be documenting and sharing our progress along the way.
